 BITTER LESSON My daughter at just six years old was my savior. When I married my husband, David, he was working with a very  reputable company and making so much money. “I don’t want you to work. Just stay at home and take care of my children. I will provide everything you need,” my husband would always say. And true to his words, he provided everything I needed. Whenever I asked for anything, he gave it to me without any hesitation. I initially did not like the idea of me staying at home all day like a spoilt car beyond repair but when my husband did not renege in his promise and the monthly upkeep kept coming as and when due, I got used to it.  What gives us access to the family of God is faith. Faith is the foundation of our salvation. Every born again child of God needs faith to succeed in this heavenly race. "But without faith it is impossible to please him....." Hebrews 11:6 (KJV) You need faith to activate the miraculous. These was  one reason why Jesus Christ always referred to faith during His healing ministry. " Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, if ye have faith, and doubt not,........ "Matthew 21:21(kjv).  Doubt is a virus that eats up the miraculous while faith is a switch that triggers the miraculous. The centurion in Matthew 8:5-13 only requested for a word and Jesus marvelled at his level of faith.  To the woman with the issue of blood for twelve years, Jesus declared,"... Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole;...... Build your faith by  the  following Ways; 1. Stand right with God 2. Study and meditate on God's word (Romans 10:17; Joshua 1:8) 3. Prayer and...

 Grace is a popular word to Christians. Grace is more than a mere word, there is something unique, something special about the word "Grace". Grace is the kindness that God shows towards the human race even in our sinful state. Grace is an unmerited favour, you are not qualified for it, you don't deserve it, but yet you have it. Grace is God doing for man what man cannot do for himself. Grace cannot speak for you and your life still remains the same. When grace speaks, labour is turned to favour, impossibility becomes possible. Grace breaks protocols. Grace does not look at your background or where you are coming from. Your race or your class is not necessary when grace is speaking. When grace is speaking, the place you are doesn't count. Grace took Esther from slavery to the become a queen in a foreign land (Esther 2:15-18).
